Driving Success: Talent Drive’s Journey into the New Financial Year

As we step into a new financial year at Talent Drive, we find ourselves at the threshold of opportunity. Over the past year, like most businesses we have faced challenging times as well as embracing new opportunities.

Reflecting on the Past Year: Achievements and Learnings

Despite a turbulent market in the past year, we remained resilient and had a record breaking year on placements and successfully made lasting relationships and partnerships in the industry and beyond. Our team’s dedication, creativity, and expertise enabled us to overcome obstacles, adapt our strategies, and continue to grow. We take pride in the milestones we’ve achieved over the past year, from expanding our client base as well expanding our own team members, to enhancing our brand and of course the launch of Talent Finance. We also saw the rebranding of the Talent Talks podcast and the launch of the Talent Drive Youtube channel to enable video first podcasting. Our new podcast producer, Joe at Kindful Creative, has enabled and assisted us to propel Talent Talks to a new level.

‘I wanted to share my personal top 3 learns for the previous financial year.

1.) Time is the most valuable resource we have so it is important to protect it and allocate the right time and energy in things that are going to help you and your business grow.
2.) You are going to fail at things during the year….and that’s ok! For any business to build resilience and be successful there has to be failure and it is important to recognise that and take the learns.
3.) Invest in your people. This is a non negotiable for me! You are only as good as the people you have in your business. These individuals need your time, support and guidance and should always be your priority.

I am proud of everything our Talent Drive and Talent Finance teams have achieved this year and excited for the new financial year ahead and the learnings we make individually and collectively as a team.’

Looking into the Future

As we enter the new financial year, we are focused on continuing to create lasting and meaningful relationships with our existing and new clients and candidates. One of our key priorities for the coming year is to further enhance our sustainability practices, leveraging on data we have gathered from the previous financial year as well as consistently learning from our clients and candidates, as well as other businesses. Moreover, we are dedicated to expanding our reach and strengthening our presence in the procurement market, forging strategic partnerships, and exploring new avenues for growth. Through targeted marketing initiatives, networking events, and thought leadership initiatives.
