Supplier Due Diligence Manager
Our client is a global firm that professional services and technology solutions in financial services. As part of the organisations growth strategy, they require an experienced supplier due diligence professional to head a number of key projects, ahead of some major M&A activity slated for later this year.
Supporting both the procurement and M&A integration team, this position will involve end-to-end supplier due diligence and risk assessment concerning prospective new company acquisitions. The suppliers most likely under the microscope will involve real estate, IT and supply chain related areas.
Assignment Details:
- Initial 6 month contract (high likelihood to extend, in line with M&A timelines)
- 100% remote based (you must have be based in the UK, and possess valid UK right to work / UK citizenship)
- Rate between £550-£650 per day
- Inside or Outside IR35
- Starts ASAP, ideally in March
Required Experience:
- You must be an expert with supplier due diligence.
- Experienced operator with merger & acquisition processes – This includes data gathering from global/complex sources, advanced risk analysis, effective presentation of findings and identifying opportunities for streamlining, cost savings, or performance improvements, for example.
- Previous track record working within (or close collaboration) with procurement teams – This includes regular communications regarding supplier status, and alignment on category management strategies to achieve seamless integration processes.
- Deep supplier knowledge in property and real estate, IT and supply chain spend categories. Proven examples of where you have delivered DD projects against these areas is essential!
- Able to deliver in a fast-paced environment, and operate autonomously.
