A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Procurement Manager to join a growing UK business with an expanding multi-site operation and strong long-term investment backing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of procurement, strengthen existing processes, and help shape and develop a best-practice procurement function.

Reporting directly into the Commercial Finance Director, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Property, Facilities Management, Operations, Marketing and Finance, taking ownership of sourcing, supplier management, contract management, procurement systems and commercial improvement initiatives.

This is a standalone role with one direct report, offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a visible commercial impact across a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of procurement activity across the wider business, supporting both operational and strategic requirements
  • Act as the procurement systems lead and super-user for Coupa across requisitioning, approvals, supplier onboarding, catalogues and reporting
  • Lead the implementation of Coupa SIM, from design through to go-live and user adoption
  • Drive improvements to procurement processes, controls, workflows and reporting
  • Lead sourcing, tendering, renewal and supplier selection activity across a broad range of indirect spend categories
  • Manage supplier onboarding, due diligence, performance and ongoing relationship management
  • Maintain a proactive contract renewal pipeline and improve contract visibility across the business
  • Support commercial decisions across Property, Facilities Management, capital projects, FF&E and operational spend
  • Develop procurement policies, frameworks and procedures that can scale with business growth
  • Produce meaningful spend, compliance and procurement MI and dashboards
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation and improved commercial value
  • Partner with Finance and IT on procurement systems development and enhancements
  • Provide commercial guidance and constructive challenge to stakeholders across the business
  • Deliver training and ongoing support to users across multiple locations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience operating at Procurement Manager level within a multi-site or operationally complex environment
  • Strong experience across indirect procurement, ideally Hospitality
  • Experience owning or improving P2P/procurement systems
  • Strong understanding of procurement controls, governance and compliance
  • Demonstrable experience improving manual or legacy procurement processes
  • Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Confident working autonomously and managing competing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn procurement data into actionable insight
  • Experience managing contracts, renewals and sourcing projects
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

Desirable Experience

  • Coupa experience
  • CIPS qualification or currently studying towards CIPS
  • Experience within property, hospitality, healthcare, retirement living or another multi-site environment
  • Experience leading or supporting procurement system implementations
