Location: Hertfordshire HQ (3 days)
Salary:£80,000 + 20% Bonus + PMI + matched pension up to 7.5% + additional benefits
An industry-leading organisation is looking for a Lead Procurement Manager to join their high-performing team, focusing on the Property category with a key responsibility for developing the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to shape and deliver category strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders across property, distribution, and retail functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver high-value savings through robust sourcing strategies.
- Partner with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure operational excellence and commercial value.
- Develop and lead the procurement strategy for M&E, aligned with wider business goals.
- Act as the key point of contact for supplier management and contract-related matters.
- Mentor and lead a team of Procurement Managers, including international colleagues.
- Identify and assess new and existing suppliers to mitigate risk and optimise performance.
- Work cross-functionally with procurement teams across wider group entities to drive efficiencies.
What You’ll Need:
- Demonstrable experience in procurement leadership, ideally across indirect spend.
- Proven success leading large, complex sourcing events and negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable savings.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, driving buy-in to strategic plans.
- Leadership capabilities, including coaching and developing procurement talent.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
