Our client is a leading facilities management company providing a range of both standalone and integrated services. The company operates across the UK and Ireland, delivering innovative award-winning services to the private and public sectors and supporting the local communities in which it operates.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Procurement professional to join the existing Indirect Procurement Team. With an aggressive growth strategy both through organic and acquisitions, this is an exciting time to join the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a category strategy for long term planning, negotiation, and compliance.
- Highlighting risks and issues with current contracts, identifying and implementing improvements.
- Manage and implement SLAs and KPIs with suppliers to drive supplier performance.
- Regular supplier engagement and management, building strategic, value-adding relationships.
- Managing and running end-to-end sourcing activities and supporting the Head of Indirect Procurement in high-risk/value opportunities.
Required Experience:
- Have a broad IT skills base, experience in SaaS solutions, Networks, and Telecoms would be useful.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and C suite
- Advise on the sourcing strategy, and be accountable for end to end strategic sourcing process.
- Understand supplier markets relating to Technology and through this bring knowledge, innovation and opportunity to deliver commercial advantage to the business.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Results-driven with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Experience in Supplier Relationship Management.
- Working towards MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
