EU Category Lead – Corporate & Professional Services

Talent Drive are partnering with a global organisation to appoint a senior procurement leader to own and deliver a pan-European Corporate / Professional Services category strategy.
Although the role is technically anchored to a Surrey HQ, this is a UK-wide role with genuine flexibility. You can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel across Europe every 3–4 weeks.
Salary: up to £100,000 + bonus + PMI
Location: UK based (flexible) | European travel required
This is a high impact role for an experienced procurement professional who has already delivered category strategies at scale, ideally across corporate or professional services in a global or pan-European environment.
You will act as the category expert, shaping long-term strategies, driving value beyond cost, and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal and Operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and executing regional and local category strategies across Europe
- Leading complex sourcing initiatives, tenders and negotiations
- Driving value creation, risk management and governance, not just savings
- Acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across multiple countries
- Aligning global, regional and local procurement activity
- Managing key strategic suppliers and driving performance improvement
- Supporting contract implementation and ensuring compliance across markets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering global or pan-European category strategies
- Strong background in Corporate / Professional Services procurement
- Comfortable operating in complex, matrixed, international organisations
- Experienced managing large spend portfolios (typically £50m+ per category)
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and influencing at leadership level
- Strategic, commercially sharp and comfortable with ambiguity
