Join the Global Procurement team of a well-established international FMCG business with a long heritage and global presence. The organisation is known for its strong brands, commitment to quality and increasing focus on sustainability and responsible sourcing.
As Category Lead – Indirect Services, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering category strategies across a range of indirect service areas. You will partner with stakeholders across global markets, manufacturing sites and corporate functions to drive cost optimisation, innovation, sustainability and supplier performance.
This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence global procurement strategy while working with senior stakeholders and strategic suppliers across multiple markets.
Category Lead – Indirect Services – Hampshire (2 days a week)
Up to £55,000 + bonus + excellent benefits package
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver category strategies for indirect services, including HR services, professional services, technical services, facilities, travel and marketing.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, from supplier selection and tendering to contract award and supplier performance management.
- Deliver measurable value, cost optimisation and efficiency improvements across assigned categories.
- Identify opportunities for supplier-led innovation and sustainability improvements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, marketing, finance, HR and technical teams.
- Manage supplier relationships, drive performance improvements and conduct regular supplier reviews.
- Monitor market trends, risks and opportunities to ensure a competitive and resilient supplier base.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement or category management
- Strong negotiation, sourcing and supplier management skills
- Experience managing complex stakeholders in an international environment
- Commercially driven with the ability to deliver measurable value
- Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) preferred
