We asked them to let us know how they found their new roles at Talent Drive – here’s what they said!
Wiktoria:
My first few months at Talent Drive have been better than I could have possibly imagined. Having said that, recruitment comes with its challenges, which I’ve had to welcome as and when they come!
My manager Brad, and the entire team, have welcomed me with open arms. Working with a close- knit team can be daunting at first, but it has been incredibly rewarding to build strong working relationships with everyone in the team. Importantly, I have learned that everyone has something different to offer, and the sharing of knowledge within a team really contributes to fruition of projects and professional understanding.
Procurement and Supply chain are two truly complex and underestimated areas in all industries. In addition to fulfilling my role as a recruitment consultant, I want to make businesses aware of the value and importance of Procurement to any business. It has been incredibly gratifying to see the recent increase in appreciation for Procurement across a range of industries.
The most important thing I’ve taken away from my first few months, is to appreciate the high’s and appropriately process the lows without dwelling on them!
Ollie:
The first few months at Talent Drive have flown by. It has been challenging but certainly rewarding too. This is greatly down to the team for being so welcoming and always there to guide me through the challenges I’ve faced.
One of my main take aways from the first few months has been the team spirit here at Talent Drive. To me, this is why we’ve been so successful and able to continuously grow in the last few months. I must thank all the team here who have all gone out of their way to guide me through the challenging moments and collaborate.
It has also been an eye-opening time for me. Before I joined Talent Drive my experience in procurement and supply chain was minimal. Now I’ve seen how it is a key part of business strategy for companies around the world. A particular highlight from this was heading down to procurement and supply chain live this year and hearing all the different ideas and strategies to further improve and overcome the challenging times in these last few years.
Recruitment certainly has its challenges, however, the feeling you receive from helping someone find their dream job is second to none. I’m looking forward to seeing what the next few months have in store for me.
