What can you tell us about the Interim market going into 2024?

We are starting to see renewed confidence in the interim market after what some have described as a challenging 2023. Upcoming changes to IR35 regulations have also made it more attractive for employers to bring interim talent into their business.

In terms of trends in the market, we expect digital procurement, vendor risk, and cost-saving delivery experts to be in demand this year. Competition should also increase as we are seeing many senior procurement professionals entering the market. Identifying your key skill set and being able to market yourself will be important, particularly for those new to the interim market.
