Are you a senior procurement professional ready to take ownership of a high value Corporate Services portfolio across a complex, global retailer?
This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role overseeing end to end procurement across critical professional and people focused services that support a large, fast paced, regulated business.
You will shape category strategies across areas such as professional services, consultancy, legal, HR, recruitment, travel and contingent labour, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive commercial value, governance and performance.
Salary: £75,000 to £83,000 + 20% bonus, matched pension up to 7.5% + PMI + 25 days annual leave + additional benefits
Location: Hertfordshire (3 days a week)
Team: Leadership role with 2 direct reports
What You will Be Doing
- Leading procurement strategy across a broad Corporate Services portfolio, including professional services, consultancy, legal services, HR services, recruitment, travel and related indirect categories
- Managing and developing a team of 2 Procurement Managers, building capability and driving consistent, high-quality category delivery
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal, Operations and the wider business to align procurement strategy with organisational priorities
- Driving value creation, compliance, risk management and supplier performance across business critical service categories
- Leading complex tendering processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations and framework agreements
- Strengthening governance, commercial controls and supplier management across the Corporate Services supply base
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in Corporate Services / Professional Services procurement (e.g. consultancy, legal, HR, recruitment, travel, contingent labour)
- Experience operating in large, complex organisations with robust governance and stakeholder requirements
- Proven people leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop and motivate teams
- Confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders in fast-moving, matrixed environments
- A commercially astute, strategic mindset with experience delivering value beyond pure cost savings
