A leading private healthcare provider is seeking a Buyer – Indirect Procurement to join its Central London head office team. Supporting a national network of hospitals and clinics, this role offers real exposure to high-value, service-critical indirect categories.
You’ll take ownership of facilities management, business services and indirect products, working closely with stakeholders to deliver savings, improve service outcomes and strengthen supplier partnerships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing sourcing and tendering across indirect spend (hard & soft FM, business services, products)
- Running end-to-end tenders, from specifications through to negotiation and contract award
- Delivering cost savings while maintaining service quality
- Supporting stakeholders with BAU supplier and service issues
- Analysing spend (CAPEX/OPEX) to identify value opportunities
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, ideally within indirect categories
- Proven ability to deliver savings and manage tenders
- Strong analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Confident communicator with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- MCIPS (or working towards) desirable
Package
- Salary up to £40,000
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 30)
