Category Manager – HR Services

Talent Drive are partnered with a large, complex UK organisation to recruit a Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing across HR Services within a central procurement function.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Procurement professional with strong HR & Professional Services Category experience to take ownership of a high value portfolio and work as a true business partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
What you will be doing:
- Owning end to end category strategy across HR Services (incl. recruitment, training, travel, rewards & benefits, meetings & events)
- Leading sourcing activity: RFP/RFQ, supplier selection, negotiation & contract renewal/extension
- Delivering measurable savings, value creation and risk mitigation across key sub-categories
- Driving supplier performance and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain
- Building strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders and aligning procurement solutions to evolving business needs
- Supporting wider transformation initiatives and procurement programmes
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience in HR Services / Professional Services categories
- Confident communicator able to influence and challenge stakeholders at senior level
- Proven track record delivering commercial outcomes through structured category management
- Comfortable working in a large, multi site / matrix organisation
- CIPS Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable
