Our client is seeking an experienced category manager in professional services, on behalf of a fast-growing UK real estate organisation.
This prioritises development of category strategies for professional services (i.e. consulting, communications, auditing, finance) in order to identify, and deliver on, a pipeline of value, including quick-win cost savings, in addition to supplier consolidation opportunities.
You will have the opportunity to influence and support a procurement transformation programme which is implementing procurement best practice processes, technologies to improve user-experience and to provide better value.
Required Experience:
- High-level understanding of professional services category management and leading practice sourcing processes and governance
- Min 5 years previous experience developing and executing category & sourcing strategies for professional services related spend, with a good knowledge of supplier sector benchmark pricing
This role is hybrid working, onsite in Central London 50%, 6 month contract, inside IR35. Availability to start ASAP is essential.
