We want to take this time to thank all of our clients and candidates for your continuous support throughout this year. We wish our network a very merry Christmas and a great break with your loved ones.
It’s important to take time to reflect on the year. For us this has been a year of two halves, January to the summer it was a challenging market due to the economic uncertainty with the political landscape the UK and overseas which allowed businesses to be a bit nervous about hiring. We saw positive grown in interim, consultancy and professional services and slower traction in other markets like CNI, Industrial and Engineering.
As the summer progressed we have seen a real increase in volume of vacancies. The clarity, certainly here in the UK, has helped businesses understand their needs moving into 2025.
We have seen a big investment in ESG, supplier risk management and AI and tech. These transformations mean more investment in headcount and more growth in SRM and third party risk management
The outlook for 2025 is very positive, with the changes within NI and some of the budget issues has forced more organisations to focus more on contractors, at a fixed cost to, know where they are at an end date and to buy in that experienced resource in the new year so there are some really exciting growth opportunities in the interim market and particularly in the senior end of the permanent market which has been quite static and flat over the past 18 months. We see this growing as we move into 2025. Overall we are optimising as we go into the new year, it was game of two halves but we are finishing off 2025 strongly with numerous roles still coming in.
This year has also seen Talent Group gain our B Corp certification which we are extremely proud of as a team, and we look forward to having even more of a focus on what changes we can make in the New Year.
We had a great year supporting Julia’s House Children Hospice and raised £3,216.01 with the help of our network by the team taking on our Talent Trek along the South Coast and Martin taking on 24 peaks in 24 hours.
Back in January we welcomed Christian Rowles to the team, as a manager in professional services, as well as Matthew Langley as Group Director across Talent Drive and Talent Finance and Katherine Thorp as Operations Manager. They have all been amazing additions to our team.
