Are you an experienced procurement professional, ready to take on your next challenge? We have an exciting new role available, with a fast-growing global leisure brand as they continue their US expansion strategy.
The opportunity
- As the US Procurement Manager, you will be a trusted business partner to the US business, providing sourcing, tender, contracting and supplier management support and expertise across all areas of indirect spend.
- You will take ownership for the delivery of these activities, ensuring first class service, governance, and driving EBITDA performance through the delivery of savings, rebates & efficiencies.
- You will also support the US expansion activities, including our Franchise operations.
- A greenfield role, this provides the opportunity to build the US procurement footprint, and collaborate with European peers on initiatives to identify strategic opportunities to add value.
The required experience & approach:
- Experience in strategic, indirect Procurement environments, with demonstrable achievements delivering in a fast-paced, multi-site business. Indirect categories include (but not limited to): Facilities management, property, warehousing, supply chain, leasing, and professional/corporate services.
- Experience working for organizations in the leisure, retail or FMCG sectors.
- Can deliver procurement solutions in an unstructured environment, with limited existing processes.
- Ability to build strong & credible relationships with a wide stakeholder group at all levels, and is a team player who works collaboratively.
- Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills, with an ability to adapt both style and approach as required.
- Can influence and communicate persuasively in challenging situations, with great instincts and using data & insights to make recommendations and the right decisions.
- Is disciplined, remains calm under pressure, and thrives working at pace leading multiple projects and priorities to deadlines and targets.
- A solid understanding of supply chain contracts, commercial contracting & law.
- Has a natural ability to be innovative, think commercially, demonstates a pragmatic and solutions-based mindset, and see’s the bigger picture.
- Is a natural and confident person with no ego and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in.
- Is a high-performer with high-standards and work ethics, and continually challenges themself.
- Has strong diligence and organisational skills, and is an initiative taker with the ability to work productively remotely.
- Has excellent technical skills including the use of computer systems and reporting/presentation techniques.
Flexible working policy: This is a hybrid role, with two days per week required at the US HQ in New York. You will also need to travel Internationally as required.
The Package: Up to $125,000 base salary, plus package including healthcare, 401K plus other benefits
