Procurement Manager 12-month initial FTC | Hampshire/Home Working | Financial Services
£65-70,000 (pro rata salary) + 10% bonus + other great benefits

An expanding brand who has been a real success story in their industry market are looking to expand
their Procurement function as part of an exciting transformation and as a result are looking for a
new Procurement Manager to come in for an initial 12 months to deliver some exciting projects
within the IT and Digital space. This role will report straight into the Head of Procurement and have
an addressable spend of around £40-£50 million.
The company are based in Hampshire but offer flexible working so a mixture of home working and
some office-based presence when needed.

What the role involves
Managing a multi-million-pound portfolio of spend across Technology and Digital
Develop and contribute to category (and sub-category) strategies for IT services spend and
objectives of the department management and health of strategic supplier relationships in close
collaboration with your key stakeholders
Shaping and executing a range of sourcing strategies across Digital and Technology and collaborating
with key internal stakeholders in the business
Have the chance to interact with the wider Procurement exec team in making critical commercial
decisions as part of the short, medium- and long-term strategy of the business and be empowered
to make these decisions.
Understand business requirements, priorities, issues and challenges – having the confidence to
challenge the status quo and influence thinking
Manage the sourcing initiative pipeline to ensure all required internal/external resources are
assigned/available and that each sourcing event is progressed with speed & agility
Report to the Head of Procurement to drive change and grow the Procurements spend remit across
the business.

The person we hope to find
IT category management experience is essential for this role
Ideally managed multiple IT contracts for your previous organisation
Proven experience of managing IT stakeholders and being able to make key strategic decisions on
the supplier base you are engaged with
Degree educated or equivalent would be preferable but not essential
Be able to identify and implement negotiation strategies through a multi-function team
