Talent Drive are delighted to be partnering with one of the largest commercial property development and investment company in the UK as they embark on an exciting Procurement Transformation journey. They are seeking a procurement analyst to be a key player in supporting the new Procurement Team delivering on their strategic objectives to the Business through excellent KPI & market-based analysis. The right candidate will be responsible for the collection and analysis of data from various internal and external sources. You will use your experience to identify trends and opportunities, presenting your results in a clear manner selecting the appropriate visualisation tool.


What the role involves:

Being the primary point of contact within the Group Procurement Team for spend, category and performance data.

Analysing the spend and providing the insights to the Category Management team.

Building a portfolio of market/supplier insights for strategic procurement exercises

Maintaining suppler performance data and providing dashboards

The role will be accountable for maintaining and improving the quality of data used by the procurement team and ensures quality of data by interpreting patterns and trends using including data modelling and data mining.

The Procurement Analyst will be accountable for the accuracy of the spend, category and performance data

The role will be accountable for refining and innovating the procurement category hierarchy

Professionalisation of the data and how we report it to stakeholders is fundamental to this role


Key competencies

Analysis of large complex data sets from a variety of sources, presenting concise and relevant information, suitable to your audience, to enable informed decisions to be made

Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunities within Procurement spend and supplier performance

Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics

Manage Procurement MI Reports and monthly/quarterly reports

Excellent skills in all Microsoft Office applications and other reporting suites with ability to produce dashboards

The ability to be flexible in your approach to work allocated

Ability to articulate complex data in a

Degree essential

Skilled in the use of MS Powerpoint
