Procurement Analyst

A fantastic Procurement Analyst position working within a leading mobility company. A purpose-driven organisation with a key focus to improve the quality of their customer’s lives through providing affordable and sustainable financial solutions.

A great opportunity to shape how the company measure and analyse procurement performance through financial and non-financial activities. This is a newly centralised and growing Procurement function so this is a great opportunity to take ownership of this area, further build out the spend analytics, contract analytics and work closely with stakeholders. While a large focus is on the analytics, this role will also grow within procurement itself within the long-term.

If you have interest in ESG or AI, there is opportunity to look at owning a project within these areas.

What the role involves:

  • Development and maintenance of Procurement intranet and site pages ensure it remains up to date.
  • Ownership of the Procurement inbox, responding to stakeholder queries & requests
  • Developing the spend analytics capabilities using a variety of data sources to spot spend trends and significant spend changes on suppliers
  • Create and develop the Procurement dashboard to demonstrate the value-add Procurement delivers e.g. Cost savings/avoidance, customer satisfaction, process efficiency
  • Ownership and SME for the Contracts Management tool used to store all 3rd party contracts.

The person we hope to find:

  • You are passionate about data and enjoy analysing data from a variety of sources within a Procurement environment
  • Interest in growing within Procurement is also a must
  • Developing Procurement dashboards to measure team performance.
  • Advanced MS Excel (knowledge of functions, pivot tables, v/h look ups and macros).
  • Experience in a highly analytical role within a procurement, commercial or business environment.

What this role can offer you?

  • Purpose-driven organisation which champions a collaborative, inclusive and supportive working environment
  • Working within a newly created and valued Procurement function with growth opportunities
  • Strong on analytics, creating dashboards ideally on Power BI
  • An organisation that is not solely focused on KPIs/Savings but creating and building an innovative supply chain
  • Great benefits package including 28 days annual leave

If you are an experienced Procurement Analyst looking for a new challenge and are interested in working for an organisation who work closely with the charity sector and who view Procurement as an integral part of their business and a huge part of the growth strategy, then this could well be the role for you!
