A rare opportunity has opened for an experienced procurement leader to take ownership of IT category strategy at scale. This is a senior, high impact role leading north of £80 million spend and shaping the commercial direction of a complex organisation along with leading a team of 5 high performing and experienced Procurement Managers.
c.£92,000 + £6,6000 car allowance + 15% Bonus + Pension (doubled up to 9%) + Private Healthcare (Family) + 26 days Annual leave + additional benefits
Due to nature of the company, you’ll be required to obtain SC Clearance.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will lead the creation and delivery of category strategies across a broad IT portfolio, ensuring value, resilience, and performance across the end to end supply chain. You will manage complex supplier relationships, drive governance excellence, and deliver measurable commercial improvements.

- Full ownership of £80 million category strategy and sourcing delivery
- Major contract negotiations and supplier performance management
- Category governance, risk reduction and value delivery
- End-to-end supply chain activity across a diverse internal stakeholder landscape
- A team of sourcing professionals, fostering capability, alignment and excellence
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive category & contract management expertise
- Proven leadership experience in complex, high value environments
- Strong commercial acumen and senior-level stakeholder influence
- Degree/MBA and professional procurement accreditation (e.g., MCIPS)
- A track record of delivering tangible cost, quality & service improvements
