Talent Drive are pleased to be assisting in the search for an Graduate Buyer to join a globally renowned retailer in the Midlands. You will be responsible for delivering cost reductions, implementing and driving forward the procurement strategy as well as managing tendering, negotiations and nurturing supplier relationships across indirect services.
What the role involves:
- Develop, implement and maintain the procurement strategy
- Supply market research
- Delivering end to end tender process
- Work closely and effectively with the global procurement team
- Commercial & Contract negotiations.
- Implement and maintain supplier relationship practices
The person we hope to find:
- Experience in indirect procurement
- Proven track record of delivery cost savings
- Strong engagement and influencing skills at all levels
- Ability to build and grow strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Experience drafting and negotiating terms and conditions
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £42,000 per annum
- Employer and employee contributory pension
- 5 weeks annual leave
